Sports Management

According to Scott: "There are two types of leaders. The natural born leaders and the self-made ones, those who had to work hard to achieve their goals and experience both the taste of failure and success. It's their attitude and the way they share their knowledge which ultimately defines their credibility."

During a demanding and trialing professional career as a world class cyclist, overcoming many setbacks and tough situations, Scott has built a wealth of knowledge about how to maintain focus, reach goals and how to stay on the often bumpy road to success.

Working directly with the sport's top athletes on and off the bike, Scott has gained a unique insight into what it takes be a winner in the high pressure world of professional cycling.

Team work, leadership and motivation are key among the qualities needed to succeed as an athlete, a team and a manager in this most demanding of sports.

Scott will share with you his expertise on how to harness your personal talent, or the talent of the people you work with and how to develop your own or your staff's abilities.

Scott is one of the best informed managers in Professional Cycling, working as a consultant for different entities within the sport and has many great stories to share.

2010 News
Scott announced his departure from Team Sky in May 2010, in order to spend more time with his family.
He is currently working as a consultant to different entities in the sport and continues to scout for young cycling talent.

Scott's aim is to direct talented riders to the right team: "I have seen how important it is for a rider to be in a team which will suit his abilities and ambitions and help him nurture that talent properly. To place a young rider in the right environment and seeing him achieve his goals is very rewarding. I enjoy it immensely."
